रिजिजू ने कहा, “मैं राहुल गांधी द्वारा नागपुर में ‘संविधान सम्मेलन’ आयोजित करने पर आपत्ति जताता हूं, क्योंकि उन्होंने और कांग्रेस पार्टी ने हमेशा संविधान और इसके निर्माताओं का अपमान किया है।” उन्होंने डॉ. बाबा साहेब अंबेडकर और भारतीय संविधान के प्रति कांग्रेस के रवैये को भी निशाना बनाते हुए कहा कि, “कांग्रेस पार्टी को डॉ. अंबेडकर और संविधान के बारे में बात करने का कोई अधिकार नहीं है, क्योंकि उन्होंने हमेशा उनके योगदान को नकारा और अपमानित किया है।”
